PerformanceLab – Analyse, manage and develop performance
PerformanceLab is the sports-science-oriented management, analysis and development system within schwimmtrainer.at.
It is aimed particularly at performance-focused coaches, clubs, federations and organisations seeking to plan, document, evaluate and develop their sporting work systematically.
PerformanceLab supports professional athlete care, the management of sporting development and objective assessment of swimming and athletic performance.
The eight areas of PerformanceLab are:
- Athlete management: Managing and supporting athletes and training groups in a structured way.
- Competition management and planning: Recording, planning and analysing competitions, entries, results and sporting objectives over time.
- Performance management: Tracking individual and group performance systematically, evaluating it against appropriate references and supporting long-term progress.
- Performance analysis and development: Analysing swimming and athletic performance using appropriate tests, diagnostic protocols, reference values and individual targets to inform further training development.
- Test planning: Prepare, schedule and track swimming, competition and athletics tests.
- Training planning, analysis and documentation: Seasonal planning from macrocycles to intervals, guest athlete assignments, planned-versus-actual dashboards and PDF reports. The Jonas example contains fictional data.

- Documentation: Documenting performance, test results, development trends and relevant information in a clear and structured way.
- Coaching: Supporting coaches with a sound data and information basis for training management, decision-making and individual athlete care.
PerformanceLab brings together sports-science knowledge and the practical requirements of professional training and performance management.
The aim is to support sporting development systematically through transparent data, individual objectives and suitable reference models, rather than relying on subjective impressions alone.
PerformanceLab does not replace a coach’s expertise or personal responsibility. Instead, it provides tools to make their work more targeted, transparent and evidence-informed.
